Location 146. Transferred to the Town of New Castle in 1963.

hat's the picture I was referring to.  Prisoners from the Portsmouth Naval Prison were used to tear down the old buildings after the war.  It was called the Retraining Command and the men were housed at Camp Langdon.See pictures in the book "Portsmouth Naval Prison" part of the Images of America series.

B-128 the Fire Station still remains as Fire Chief residence.

T-104 the Battery Office was converted to a bathroom and still remains.
