In 1942 construction began on a six story tower on Great Boars Head in Hampton NH. This tower was used solely for [[Fort Dearborn]] in Rye nearby. The sixth floor with DPF was used for Battery 204. The fifth floor also with DPF was used for Battery Seamen/103. Anti Aircraft Observation Post 4 was located on top of the tower and Searchlight #1 was located on the grounds. This reservation was designated location 138. The adjacent house was used as barracks for the tower. In the 1950s an experimental SAGE radar was placed atop the tower. Today the tower is on private property and not open to the public.
