In April 1942 construction began on an eight-story tower designated Location 155. It was built on Stone Haven Hill in Kennebunkport MA. Originally this station was going to serve Battery 101 at [[Cape Elizabeth MR|Cape Elizabeth]] and Battery 102 at [[Peaks Island MR|Peaks Island]]. Since Battery 101 was never completed, this tower only served Battery 102. A fire control switchboard was located on the first floor. This tower was disguised as a windmill and was painted as shown in some photos. In 1949 the Army Corps of Engineers was called out to blow up the tower. It took four explosions to knock the tower over.
