Location 146. Transferred to the Town of New Castle in 1963.

hat's the picture I was referring to.  Prisoners from the Portsmouth Naval Prison were used to tear down the old buildings after the war.  It was called the Retraining Command and the men were housed at Camp Langdon.See pictures in the book "Portsmouth Naval Prison" part of the Images of America series.
