Loc. 59B was constructed in 1942 and completed in 1943, a 50-foot steel girder tower with a faux water tank held a SCR 296 or 296A that most likely served Battery 210 at Mishuam Point MR. It had a prefabricated corrugated steel operations room and two generator buildings. The tower was dismantled around 1948 and I believe the operations building was also removed at this time. One or two of the generator buildings may have survived as late as 1971 based on aerial imagery (this is all speculation, and more research is being done into this site). As of 2021, all four of the concrete bases remain near a cell phone tower on top of Peaked Hill on Marthas Vineyard.
