Welcome to my website! I created this site to share my knowledge and enthusiasm about American Coast Defense, specifically in the New England region. I have been an avid student of Coast Defense for the past five years but have been visiting forts all my life. I am a volunteer with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands leading the preservation and interpretation of Battery 201 at Two Lights State Park/Cape Elizabeth Military Reservation.
