Two Manhole FC's. One under viewing platform was for Battery Gray at Fort Church and one that has fallen into the ocean was for Battery Milliken at Fort Rodman. A 40-foot wooden tower for the Coast Guard was located next to the Gay Head Lighthouse that served the Anti-Aircraft Observer AAIS OP. This tower was dismantled sometime after 1955. In 2007 there were visible remains of the chain-link fence surrounding the Battery Gray FC, but it is not known if they still exist after a remodel of the observing area. Loc.59
