This site was selected for a temporary battery of 37mm AMTB guns on mobile mounts. Due to this, when the war was over the weapons were towed out and the site has no remains.
During WWII Drinkwater Point was the site of AMTB #10 which consisted of two field 37mm guns. These guns were towed out around 1945. No remains.
