	A six story Fire Control Tower was built in 1943 with three Base-End Stations for [[Peaks Island MR\|Battery Steele]] (DPF), [[Fort Levett\|Battery Foote]] (DPF), and [[Cape Elizabeth MR\|Battery 201]] (DPF). The structure was built to look like either a church or schoolhouse. Unfortunately, there is not too much information on this station, but it was ~~most likely~~ destroyed ~~in the 1950s~~. Roger Davis of the CDSG reports locating the indent in the ground where the station once stood. A photograph is attached below. 	This battery was built in 1941. It consisted of four 155mm guns on Panama Mounts with earthen magazines and a wooden BC Station tower. Starting in December 1941 it was manned by Battery F 240th Coast Artillery (HD Portland) Maine National Guard until February 1943 when Battery E (HD Portsmouth) United States Army assumed control. In October 1943 Battery E was reassigned to the AMTB Battery at [[Pulpit Rock Camp]] in Rye NH. The battery was disarmed by 1945 when the reservation was vacated.		This battery was built in 1941. 			The reservation is now the Abenakee Golf Clubs course. Nothing remains except for two of the partially buried Panama Mounts. Access must be obtained from the golf club before you go out on the green.
