	A two-story Fire Control cottage for Battery 205 at [[Fort Foster]] (DPF) and Battery Seaman at [[Fort Dearborn]] (AI) was completed in 1943 for $29,195. On the roof of the station was AAIS OP 10. The station had attached barracks and mess facilities for the station crew and operators for the two searchlight positions nearby. An 11 x 13-foot telephone switchboard building was built near the station for $4,260 disguised as a one car garage. Electrical service was provided by the Central Maine Power Co. and the station was heated by electric space heaters. Water mains were provided for the attached barracks. 			After the war ended, the property was sold off and converted into a residence. The building remained relatively unchanged until 2001 when the property was sold to a developer who demolished the switchboard building, rebuilt the barracks, and cut new windows in the concrete tower. The developers original plan was to demolish the concrete structure, but the contractor's equipment was unable to complete the task. The station is on private property and difficult to photograph.
